Why Vietnam for your SME?
A manufacturing base and trade links make Vietnam worth assessing for industrial suppliers and exporters. For an SME, the useful question is which customer segment and local partner fit its product.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a distributor search take?
About 5 to 6 weeks from the brief. A Market Assessment takes 7 to 10 working days.
Do I need to speak Vietnamese?
No. Outreach is in Vietnamese. Every meeting includes English–Vietnamese interpretation and you receive a written English summary.
What if too few companies agree to meet?
If fewer than three suitable companies agree to meet, we run one more search round of up to two weeks at no extra fee, with the brief unchanged.
How do I pay?
50% at start, 50% after you accept the deliverables. For Distributor and Supplier Searches, a one-time €1,900 success fee applies only after your first order is paid (distributors) or delivered and paid (suppliers), within 18 months. Travel, audits and samples are quoted separately and require your prior approval.
Can I see an example first?
Yes. Ask for an anonymised sample shortlist or report with your enquiry.

For distributor and supplier searches, the client must notify Asia Gate Partners in writing within 5 working days of the first order being concluded, paid or delivered, as applicable, and provide the relevant order, delivery and payment evidence on request. This reporting obligation applies throughout the 18-month success-fee period. The written engagement defines the start of that period and the agreed deliverables.
Questions to help scope your project
Tell us your product, target market and business objective. We will confirm the available service, deliverables and quotation before work begins.
How can I set up a company in Vietnam?
If you want to open an LLC in Vietnam, compare incorporation services, a Vietnam representative office setup and other structures against your activity. A foreign direct investment project in Vietnam needs a clearly defined scope. Ask us to scope the commercial project and identify which incorporation questions require a qualified local adviser.
What is the Vietnam corporate tax rate in 2026?
The applicable treatment depends on the entity, activity and any available incentives. Request a current assessment from a qualified Vietnamese tax adviser before budgeting; this page does not publish a tax rate or offer tax advice.
How do I find suppliers in Vietnam?
Start with product specifications, capacity, certifications and export requirements. A Vietnam manufacturers list is only a starting point: a Vietnam sourcing agent should help assess quotations and supplier fit. Vietnam apparel manufacturers, an electronics factory or furniture suppliers each need a different screening brief.
How can I find distributors in Vietnam?
Our Vietnam business partner search starts with your product, target customers and route to market. Compare Vietnam distribution channels, direct outreach and a B2B marketplace in Vietnam before choosing an import export agent. If you need a Ho Chi Minh City logistics partner, include shipment volumes and delivery requirements in the brief.
